MISSION STATEMENT:

Our mission is to establish and maintain, in the spirit of collaboration and good will, a multinational chamber orchestra, bringing together professional musicians from all over the world who have demonstrated exceptional abilities and a desire to become artistic ambassadors of their country of origin.
The orchestra will achieve its mission by providing a genuine environment for cultural exchange in organized tours abroad and in the United States, with Pittsburgh as our home city and base.
In order to provide a true experience of mutual appreciation, the orchestra will fulfill its mission by developing a repertoire that includes pieces by composers from the locations visited, as well as from the countries represented by its members. Special consideration will be given to the music of contemporary composers who have demonstrated high achievements but are still in an emerging phase of international recognition.
